The population of China is over 1.3 billion of which over 100 millions are Netizens (sources China Internet Society). 91% of these Netizens are interested in making online transactions. Recent research shows that the overall on-line transaction volume in China for the year 2006 exceeds US$32.7 billion. The rapid increase in e-commerce has led to an equally large jump in the use of fraudulent ID’s for making those transactions and online communications.
